Las Vegas: Eiffel Tower Brunch

Waking up on the last day in Vegas was almost painful.

My partner and I had such an amazing week together with our friends, and by the end of the night, we’d be on a plane back home.

I knew the end-of-trip blues would hit hard, so I booked us one last epic brunch that we could all share together to enjoy our final day – and that was at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant in Paris Las Vegas.

Brunch at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant (Aug 2024)

We’d booked the brunch a month or so before embarking on our Vegas trip, so we knew what we were in for: a delicious three-course brunch with stunning views of the Bellagio fountain.

I ordered the caprese salad starter and apple strudel for dessert, but I was most excited to try the French toast a la crème brûlée with maple orange syrup. It tasted even better than it sounds, to be honest.

We took our time enjoying each bite and savouring our last moments in the hotel before going out and wandering a little bit more.

Views of the Strip behind the Bellagio Fountain show (Aug 2024)

Despite our hotel being right across from the Bellagio, this was the first chance we had to stop and watch the fountain show. The sun shone through the dancing bursts of water, casting a rainbow over our view.

It felt magical.

I’m not a person who likes to gamble, so I didn’t engage in the casinos at all – but with three US dollars left in our pocket and no desire to exchange them back to Canadian, I put them into a slot machine and ended up winning $40!

So it felt good to have tried my chances at a machine and to leave a winner.

In-N-Out is the best burger (Aug 2024)

We grabbed one last dinner, a deliciously greasy In-N-Out cheeseburger, before heading to the airport for our late night flight.

The four of us got through security and ended up playing cards at the gate until we boarded.

When travelling with friends, you never know how it’ll go. I was worried by the end of our week, they’d be sick of me. But we had such an incredible Vegas adventure, and I can’t wait to see what our next travel adventure brings us!
