My Itinerary: 7 Days in Las Vegas
Planning a trip to Vegas in the near future? I’ve got you covered.
Here’s my 7-day itinerary for a group of four in Las Vegas – yours to steal and make your own!
Day One: South Strip
➝🏨 Check into our hotel at the Paris Las Vegas.
We stayed at Paris Las Vegas because it was a great stay for the cost, and it’s centrally located on the Strip. Couldn’t recommend it enough!
➝🍹5-foot drinks at Fat Tuesday.
When in Vegas, right? We shared this among the group of us, and it was still too much sugar to drink over the course of the day. It was still fun, though!
➝⭐️ Check out the Haus of Gaga.
A neat Gaga-themed free museum. I enjoyed seeing some of her fan-favourite outfits and bopping along to the hits.
➝🥃 Drinks at 1923 Prohibition.
A speakeasy style cocktail bar in Mandalay Bay with a menu specifically with different types of Old Fashioneds and a cool vibe.
➝🍜 Korean food at Best Friend.
If you’re looking for a restaurant with incredible food and a fun, casual vibe, I highly recommend making a reservation at Best Friend in Park MGM.
Day Two: North Strip
➝🏛️ Shopping at the Caesar’s Palace Forum.
The shops inside Caesar’s Palace Forum are a fun place to explore, even if you don’t plan on buying anything. A good place to wander around to escape the heat for an hour or two.
➝🍦 Black Tap Milkshakes.
If you love a milkshake like I do, you have to make a stop at Black Tap. They have over-the-top, super fun flavoured shakes like Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Cookies & Cream.
➝🥘 Dinner at Bobby Flay’s Amalfi.
Visiting a Bobby Flay restaurant was on our list, and this is a great spot for Italian food-lovers. Definitely not the best restaurant we ate at on this trip, but worth a stop!
➝🎪 Watch a show at Abstinthe.
There are so many types of shows to see in Las Vegas, but I highly recommend Absinthe. Circus acts, burlesque, and adult comedy all rolled into one – this show was incredibly entertaining!
Day Three: Omega Mart
➝🍔 Brunch at Peppermill.
If you’re venturing off-Strip, head to Peppermill for a delicious meal in an iconic restaurant.
➝✨ Explore the immersive Omega Mart.
I love immersive art exhibits, and Omega Mart is one of the best I’ve seen. A story of another world told through details hidden throughout this wild exhibit. Definitely a must-visit.
➝🍝 Italian food at Esther’s Kitchen.
Esther’s Kitchen is in the arts district of Vegas. Probably one of the best meals we had on this trip. The food was stellar and the energy in this place is great.
➝🎰 See a light show at Fremont Street.
You have to head to Fremont Street at least once on your trip. Old Vegas is a totally different vibe, and every hour there is a light show projected on the roof.
Day Four: Red Rock Canyon
➝🏜️ Hiking at Red Rock Canyon.
If you want to get out of the city for a while, Red Rock Canyon National Park is a short drive from Las Vegas and the desert views are beautiful.
➝🌈 Visit the Seven Magic Mountains.
A colourful art piece that lives just south of the Vegas Strip in the middle of the desert. It’s a stunning juxtaposition, totally worth a visit.
➝💅🏻Spa afternoon at Voie Spa at Paris Las Vegas.
After a morning of hiking and walking around, it was nice to sit down and be pampered for a bit. I’m not usually one for a pedicure, but this was a great idea.
➝🥩 Dinner at Beauty & Essex.
A speakeasy style restaurant hidden in a pawn shop in the Cosmopolitan, the food here was absolutely delicious. Especially the tomato soup dumplings and the desserts.
➝💃🏻 Go dancing at Coyote Ugly.
Every 90s kid has thought about what it would be like to dance on the bar at a Coyote Ugly. It was so much fun to go dancing at this bar and interact with the performers.
Day Five: Pool Day
➝🧇 Brunch at Mon Ami Gabi.
Staying at the Paris Las Vegas had me craving crepes all week, so Mon Ami Gabi was a great way to satisfy that craving! Cute patio with great eats.
➝💦 Pool afternoon at the Paris Las Vegas pool.
One of the best decisions we made was booking a cabana at the Paris pool and spending the afternoon going in and out of the pool under the Eiffel Tower.
➝🍕 Dinner at Secret Pizza.
A secret pizza joint hidden down a long, narrow hallway at the Cosmopolitan. Incredible pizza by the slice, but you may have to buy and find somewhere else to sit.
➝🎶 See a concert at the Colosseum.
Watching the Killers at a hometown show in Vegas was one of my trip highlights. But this venue is really cool and every seat is a good seat.
Day Six: Downtown Vegas
➝☠️ Visit the Zak Bagans Haunted Museum.
If you’re a horror fan, this Haunted Museum is probably already on your list. Set aside a couple of hours to go through this guided tour of spooky exhibits.
➝💉 Get a $10 tattoo at Koolsville Tattoo.
Tattoos aren’t for everyone, but this was a priority for me! They have flash tattoo designs for as low as $10, so if you want a cute tattoo to remember your trip, this is the best place to go.
➝🍗 Dinner at Soulbelly BBQ.
Epic barbecue joint off-Strip. Probably the best place we ate this entire trip. If you love pork belly and cornbread, you’ve got to eat here.
➝🪩 Visit the Neon Museum.
A small outdoor museum near Old Vegas where you can find old, retired neon signs from the Vegas strip. It was a neat stop on our trip, and a great place to take some photos.
➝🎤Karaoke at Cat’s Meow Karaoke bar.
If you’re on Fremont Street, head to the Cat’s Meow for a great karaoke spot for parties and groups. The song list is extensive and the stage is all yours.
Day Seven: One Last Hoorah
➝🗼 Brunch at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant.
A three-course brunch at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant with window views of the Bellagio fountain was the perfect ending to our week in Las Vegas.
➝⛲️ Watch a Bellagio Fountain show.
If you haven’t already, it’s time to stop by the Bellagio fountain and catch one of the water shows set to music.
➝🍔 One last burger at In-N-Out.
I couldn’t leave the States without having my favourite fast food burger. We grabbed an In-N-Our burger and then it was time to head to the airport.
We had a jam-packed week of fun in Las Vegas and still had time every day to rest and recharge. It is doable!
What would be on your Las Vegas to-do list?
