If you’re planning a trip to Iceland, the Blue Lagoon is likely the first thing that popped up in your research. It’s iconic, it’s otherworldly, and—let’s be real—it’s an investment.

I can’t say I was disappointed by the restaurants in Reykjavik. I feel like anywhere I went, I had really good food.

As a traveller in Iceland, I knew I couldn’t just stay in Reykjavik. As beautiful as it is, the country’s real soul lies in the places you venture beyond the town.
